Geography: Italy is a peninsula located in the centre of Mediterranean sea. It's made of two mountainous relieves called Appennini and Alpi. The first one crosses Italy from the North to the South and continues in the Sicilian island, where it also ends. The second one is in the north of Italy and protects us by winds for example. Here we can find the highest mountain of Europe: the White Mountain, 4809 meters high. There are many lakes and a lot of rivers.

Religion: Nowadays, it's a republic made by 20 regions and the religion is Christianity.
Traditions: We celebrate a lot of feasts, like Christmas and Easter ( they're both connected to Christianity), Carnival (you wear a costume to remember famous people), feast of republic ( we celebrate the day when our country became a republic from monarchy) and Halloween ( the Pumpnik' feast).
Gastronomy: The Italian food us known especially for pizza, pasta with tomato sauce, ice-cream, and Tiramisu.
Space Exploration: Many Italian industries collaborate with space agencies for space exploration. An example? The two space probes Exo Mars, one of them already launched.
